A second farewell...
Well, another semester has come to end. That means we have to say our goodbyes again.
During this course I have sensed some certain strengths and weaknesses. I think one of the most apparent strength of the course is that this particular course is very important for the future generation of language teaching. I genuinely, with all my heart, believe that and I am forever grateful that this course is available to us. A weakness that I can talk about is, unfortunately, the fact that not all of us is fully integrated into the latest technology so some people have to have a really hard time catching. Then again, not all of us come from the same background but I hope in the near future, the future generations will all be able to equally access modern technology no matter the price tag.
What I found easy was the fact that we can do our assignments without the need of going to the campus, I think being able to have assignments that we can do remotely at home is such a blessing. The difficult part was the written exam we had for our midterm. It was quite difficult.
My favorite task was the AI-integrated assignment that we did. I only used ChatGPT for certain things but I have never used it for an assignment, it was a first time. I don't have a least favorite task.
To improve this course, the university could help students access the latest technologies more effectively by perhaps providing students with the technological items that were talked about during the course. I am sure there are people that have never seen a VR headset before. I, for one, have seen quite few. And I have never used it before.
I think the students that are going to take this course next year will enjoy it just as much as I did. It was a resourceful course.
I believe this course has contributed to my professional development really well by introducing me to the educational side of technology and enabling me in how to use technology for my students.
Thank you for sticking with me for this semester. Hope to see you again! :)
